Ah, the d12, otherwise known as the twelve sided die.
It has 12 sides, yet it’s never used outside of a Barbarian’s hit dice and the greataxe. (Put those two together and they’re like soulmates who’ve been searching their whole lives for one another and meeting at last, kinda like that Nickelback song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0VRj2uw9L0). Ahem!
Apart from inventing my own uses for such a noble, if not widely used, die, there’s isn’t a whole lot of use for a die with 12 sides… you would think.

My teen novel will be about Angels vs Demons with Zombies as their pawns in the uprisal that is WWIII. Our hero, one of the Angels, is Starting Over as he tries to escape the haunting realities of a Dark Secret.
